Shane Bond

I grew up in Johannesburg and have lived there most of my life. I went to a public school and tried to balance schoolwork and the love of sports. I played rugby and started cycling in standard 8. I became semi-pro in cycling and was sponsored by Cajees Cycles. After leaving school I joined the elite 41 Battery unit (artillery paratrooper) and was part of the South African Defence Force Marathon Team, representing Northwest Command. After army I worked freelance as a stuntman extra for action movies involving either parachuting or action scenes in movies such as Ghandi,The Longest Day,Cry the Beloved Country and various adverts. I joined a direct marketing company and won an exchange sales contract so had the opportunity work in San Francisco and later Hamberg Germany. In 1997 I started a helicopter sales company that later branched into all aspects of aviation. In 2005 the company was rated as one of South Africa’s most promising companies.

 During the late part of 2006 I decided to move away from the ‘ultra lean’ look from years of cycling and running marathons,biathlons and duathlons. I tried the local products that were available but could not achieve the results that I was looking for. That is when I decided to try and bring in products for my own use from America. I was amazed at the instant power that Superpump 250 gave me, it was about a 10% increase on my previous all time best. It was at that point I knew I was onto something special. I contacted Liz at Gaspari and that’s where the negotiations to bring the Gaspari range to South Africa started. It has been the combination of many long hours of negotiations with the Medicines Control Council, Ports Health and Gaspari head office, but I am pleased to say that finally South Africa has access to some of the most groundbreaking and effective gym supplements available today. The only product out of the entire range that we cannot bring to South Africa at the moment is Halodrol as it contains DHEA. I believe we have brought a new era of high quality and affordable products to South Africa and that they are all fully legal, so I challenge you to try them and you will be amazed at the results, just like I was.
